Revenue Generation: Paying Attention to the Annual Fund

imagesCACATVKKThe Nonprofit Research Collaborative just released a great infographic about the importance of an annual fund (defined by their research as an initiative to raise money for the current year’s operating expenses).

Nonprofit Quarterly covers this infographic and related findings. Of note:  “Organizations that have an annual fund appeal are far more likely to achieve their fundraising goals than organizations that do not have an annual fund: 77 percent of organizations with an annual fund report being on track to achieve their goals while only 57 percent of organizations with no annual fund report being on track.”

What is your organization doing to raise money? Is it in line with the research? Or something different, altogether?
